Latest News::Faridians took pledge to celebrate Eco-friendly Diwali Festival

While addressing in Morning Assembly, Principal Mrs Kuldeep Kaur shared the importance of Diwali Festival and Bandi Chhod Diwas for both Hindu and Sikh Religions respectively and also shared her views on this common fest of lights. She told that on this auspicious day Lord Sri Ram Ji returned to Ayodha after an Exile of 14 years and Sri Guru Hargobind Singh Ji also got freedom from Mughal Emperors on this holy day. So this festival is celebrated by all of us with great zeal. On this auspicious occasion, Faridians celebrated diwali by participating in various Class-wise Cards making, Candle-n-Diyas Decoration, Rangoli making competitions. Also the Rangolis were enlightened by glow of Diyas and Candles, which made the Lobbies of our School fully illuminated with lights. The students also decorated their class rooms on diwali. On this day all the students pledged that they will always celebrate a pollution free Diwali to protect the environment. At last, Worthy Chairman S. Inderjit Singh Khalsa Ji gave festive greetings to the students & staff and praised their effort to celebrate a pollution free Diwali.
