Baba Farid Public School, named after the great sufi saint of 12th century Baba FaridJi, is a minority community, non – profit making, co-educational English Medium, partly Residential, Senior Secondary institution affiliated to C.B.S.E, New Delhi.
The foundation stone of the school was laid by Padam Vibhushan Dr. Khem Singh Gill, Vice-Chancellor, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana on 26th April, 1992 and its first academic session was inaugurated by his Excellency Sh. Surendra Nath the Governor of Punjab on 12th April, 1993.
Its first annual function was presided over by Giani Zail Singh Ji , Former President of India on 26th April, 1994.The School receives parental guidance and love from its chairman S. Inderjit Singh Khalsa a tireless paragon of all that is virtuous in mankind. Who unceasing efforts, devotion selfless service and matchless enthusiasm is a valuable asset for Faridkot and for this institution.
